Hippos can open their mouth so wide to 150 degrees and 4 feet wide. They have razor-sharp incisors and canines that can bite through a small boat and a crocodile.

In my opinion, I think the hippopotamus in the video above has been in captivity since birth, it has been trained, adapted, and adjusted to human companionship.
