Featuring never-before-seen clips of Buffett joyfully interacting with his dogs, the video is a poignant reminder of his affection for animals. In an amusing prelude to the video, Buffett quips, “Just remember, we don’t do cats, we don’t do frogs. Here at Jim’s, we just do dogs.” The song itself, written by Scotty Emerick and Harley Allen, whimsically captures Buffett’s desire for a simple, unconditional love akin to that of a dog’s. “She never tells me that she’s sick of this house… I want you to love me like my dog,” Buffett sings, encapsulating this sentiment.

This special project, in collaboration with the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), also features fan-submitted footage of them playing with their pets. Matt Bershadker, ASPCA president and CEO, expressed that this initiative honors Buffett’s legacy and his commitment to animal advocacy.
